freshmeat.net: New newsletter delivery mechanism

Dear freshmeat-news subscriber,

this will be the last email you will receive through our old  
newsletter delivery system.

When we relaunched freshmeat.net as freshmeat.net 3.0 last Saturday,  
with it came a new newsletter delivery mechanism. We're now sending  
out an HTML newsletter in addition to the traditional text-only  
newsletter.

The newsletter subscription (now called "daily update") is handled  
through your freshmeat.net user profile. We did our best to match  
subscriber's email addresses with those of registered users and  
turning on subscriptions automatically (for the plain-text version).  
We're certain that some subscribers will have fallen through the  
cracks due to differing addresses between your newsletter subscription  
and your freshmeat.net user account, so we hereby ask you to log into  
your freshmeat.net account and check the preference of the "daily  
update" in your account settings.
