Yes.  I played with the anti-alias hint settings for an hour or so 
trying to get the perfect setup.  But, it would almost take an 
herculean effort to tweak each font in the system with the correct 
sub-pixel hinting settings (RGB/BGR/Vertical RGB/Vertical 
BGR/Greyscale) and Hinting styles (None/Slight/Medium/Full).  It 
appears that a one size fits all policy just isn't going to work.

Obviously, we need the fonts themselves to provide what settings are 
optimal.  But, at this time, not all of them give that information.  
Some of the worst well-used fonts that have taken a blow with this new 
bytecode/hinter stuff: Anonymous, and most Chinese fonts.  I almost 
have to double up my prescription to get the words to come in clear.

Is there runtime configuration for the bytecode stuff?
