RPMforge Fedora Core 4 repositories

Hi,

Dries and I have been populating our FC4 repositories, we hope to have 
most of the packages available by monday. (certainly with Dries his 
shining new x86_64 system)

Like with previous releases I recommend the faint of heart to delay 
upgrading for at least 1 week. Since I'm still in the US and have limited 
time to respond to mails/problems it might even be better to wait 2 weeks.

Regarding Fedora Extras compatibility, FE has been duplication some of the 
packages RPMforge provided and with every duplicated package the 
probability of incompatibilities grows, this will take a few weeks to 
settle and fix. If you plan to help out in this area, send us your 
feedback to: [email protected]

In the meantime it may be wise not to use Fedora Extras in combination 
with RPMforge unless you know what you're doing and can fix things 
yourself.

BTW dag.wieers.com will be unavailable for possibly 6 hours. As result of 
the HEAnet resync of april we're moving the server away to prevent having 
additional expenses in the future. apt.sw.be is not affected.
