Thank you for the response. You are correct, I did mean mp3 support
for xmms or rhythmbox. I really don't mind using the command-line mp3
player, but I just hadn't noticed it was available.

I've never heard of bmp (other than the image format), so I'll check
it out. It rarely hurts to learn something new. Thanks for the tip and
for all the great work you (and the other rpmforge folks) do. I
realize now that I upgraded to FC4 a bit too soon, but at least now I
know to wait a few weeks when FC5 comes out.
