G'day,

I had the same error, but after using wxGTK from extras rather than
dries I now have audacity (apparently) working fine. The only problem
is that yum tries to update audacity with the extras version every time
I run yum update. This is a bit annoying, but manageable for now

I did originally have audacity just from extras, but this was compiled
without mp3 support - which I find a bit lame (pardon the pun).

cheers
