Ok, maybe I did something wrong, then, but I got the Sun JDK RPM, the java-compat RPM from jpackage (the java compat rpm I used was java-1.5.0-sun-compat-1.5.0.04-1jpp and is a BINARY compiled RPM, not a source one), installed the Sun JDK then the compat RPM (with its deps, with included the jpackage-utils), made a symlink in my .mozilla to the JRE shipped with the Sun JDK, and I was on my way. Worked (and works) great. -- Lamar Owen Director of Information Technology Pisgah Astronomical Research Institute 1 PARI Drive Rosman, NC 28772 (828)862-5554 www.pari.edu
