 	Gladly!
 	Download the hot-off-the-presses 
http://www.stearns.org/yum-pull/linkiso .  Give it an ISO image and a 
directory on the command line and it will link all non-src rpms in that 
iso image to the directory.  In the common case where there are multiple 
iso images for a distribution, just run linkiso once for each iso file.

 	You make it sound intentional.  It's not - yum's just trying to 
access multiple servers in case one or more are unavailable.
 	To have it work well with caching, drop down to a single server 
and edit yum.conf on each client to use that server.
