1) Everytime you search for something it trys to download all the meta data.
2) Searches are very verbose (one line per hit is more than enough).
3) Version on yum on FC3 doesn have a download-only option, which I use
intensivly.
Somebody ask me what to use as an alternative to apt some time ago on an FC4,
and I told him to try yum. That person is still insulting me and yum. :-(
