It means that I can add multiple repos (like devel, extras, freshrpms,
dag, atrpms) and tell smart that "devel, extras and freshrpms may
override each others packages (comparing e-v-r), dag may not override
packages from the three, even if they are newer, and atrpms may not
override packages from all the others, except for package foobar".

It means you can cherry-pick your packages from various repositories
(this assumes that you can deal with eventually resulting missing
dependencies, of course)
