   Ah-ha! I had rpmdb-fedora-3 installed; that's gone now, and the problem
seemingly with it.  Thanks!

   Although this didn't exist ...

   Which leads me to: which mjpegtools should I be using? I've had 1.8 for a
while (Axel's), but ATrpms is serving both that and a 1.6, which most other
tools seem to want (I had to patch nuvexport for MythTV to work with 1.8):

$ sudo smart install cinelerra-2.0-0.2.20051118.2.fc4.i386.rpm
<snip>
Downgrading packages (2):
   cinelerra-2.0-0.2.20051118.2.fc4@i386 mjpegtools-1.6.3-0.2.rc2.2.fc4@i686

$ smart query --show-channels mjpegtools
<snip>
mjpegtools-1.6.3-0.2.rc2.2.fc4@i686 [freshrpms]
mjpegtools-1.6.3-10_rc1.rhfc4.at@i386 [atrpms]
mjpegtools-1.8.0-11.rhfc4.at@i386 [atrpms, rpm-db]
