It's not just a matter of "recompiling against 2.6", as going from 2.4 to
2.6 seems to requires changes in the apps. The suggested upgrade path is
to install the compat-wxGTK packages of 2.4, which should get into Extras
soon(ish), if not already there. Check out bugzilla.redhat.com for links
to preliminary builds of those if you need them.
