I would probably go for a python/pygtk frontend for some popular commandline
tool maybe. theres plenty of things that can be still done. Creating the
frontend in pygtk should be relatively easy even for a less experienced
programmer.

Tools id love to see config frontends for:

vsftpd (in fedora core)
qemu (theres a perl gtk2 frontend) (in fedora extras)
dund (daemon .. could use a simple configuration frontend)
asterisk (probably an advanced task to create a configuration frontend for
it)

theres plenty more... i just got a few of em listed so you get the idea
