Problem with Samba in FC3

Hello Matthias,

I'm using FC3 and have setup a LAN with my friends in my institute hostel.

My problem is that I'm not able to access my friends system (I've booted in
Linux and my friend in Windows). The screen dosen't show any of the
computers in the network; even those systems that have booted in Linux. The
screen just goes blank!!

Some of my friends who use a different Linux distribution can access the
systems in the network easily though. All the network settings have been
done correctly and even my friends are surprised by the problem.
