It might be a corrupted package locally, a disk full condition, a proxy problem, I can guarantee that this package is available from the server without a problem. See for yourself by downloading: http://dag.wieers.com/packages/rar/rar-3.5.1-1.1.fc3.rf.i586.rpm I also still do not understand why Yum cannot continue to work even when there is 1 package that has a problem. I have reported this in bugzilla, but have not heard back. Maybe you can report it as well. PS I recommend using smart (both commandline and gui) for installing packages as it gives much more control over the package management experience. PS2 Also install the rpmforge-release package for automatic configuration (for apt, yum and smart) so that you are using one of the mirrors when using yum, instead of a single mirror. Especially if you have a broken proxy this might help. Kind regards, -- dag wieers, [email protected], http://dag.wieers.com/ -- [all I want is a warm bed and a kind word and unlimited power]
