After I did a yum remove audacity /  yum update / yum install audacity  it
worked.  Just couldn't handle it during the update

You know what though, it pulled audacity from extras-development and I was
actually thinking of your package *audacious  *when I wrote this.

Ch auk this up to not being fully awake and not having my drip of coffee ;)

And ignore it.
