So here's the rub - a lot of folks (like me, heh) may not want to
upgrade all sorts of other things like cairo; Matthias did this for the
Firefox backport:

* Fri Dec  2 2005 Matthias Saou <http://freshrpms.net/> 1.5-0.fc4
- Branch for FC-4 :
  - Change nspr references to mozilla-nspr >= 1.7.
  - Remove cairo dependencies.
  - Edit firefox-mozconfig : Remove cairo here too, and pango as it
requires cairo in turn.

Given that Tbird is pretty much the same codebase, my guess is that the
same thing can be done. Maybe if I get a moment here I'll take your SRPM
as a baseline and see about backpedaling like Matthias did. It's an idea
at least.
