  The expectation in Fedora is that if you are using the development version 
(rawhide) you know what you are doing. There is no promise of stability or 
any other kind. The update to the next stable release is explicitly not 
supported. So either you know what you doing or it is preferable not to touch 
it.

  If this applies to Core and Extras why should not it apply to freshrpms?

  If you know what you are doing there are ways to make it work described in 
this thread.
