For FC6 it also "just works", and since it's the very latest driver which is compatible with aiglx, you can even easily get compiz working with all the wobbly shadowed windows eye candy! One last manual step is still required for compiz to work. Add this line to your main "Screen" section of xorg.conf : Option "AddARGBGLXVisuals" "True" Restart X, enable desktop effects in the preferences, and there you go! I've been running compiz on FC6-ish with the binary nvidia drivers since last week without a single problem so far. Oh, if anyone knows enough about pyxf86config to get this option automatically added and removed from the nvidia-config-display python script, it would be great.
