vlc rpm request for fedora 5

Hi,
I am using FC5 and want to use the vlc 0.8.5 version. So far I was able 
to install the vlc version 8.4a from livna but recently I saw the vlc 
8.5 packages in freshrpms site for FC6. Is it possible that this 
packages will also be available for FC5 soon? Reason for vlc 8.5 is I 
have network of windows and linux where windows machines have vlc 8.5 
and FC5 have vlc 8.4a version. In some cases, linux based vlc cannot 
decode (and terminates) the media being served from windows machines.
