New faac

I knew this would happen.

Since I need libmp4ff.so.0, I used faad2-2.5-7 from atrpms.
Then, vlc does not run anymore. ffmpeg does not find faacDecOpen,

/usr/lib/libavcodec.so.51: undefined symbol: *faacDecOpen*

either with faac version 1.24 or 1.25 from freshrpms.

I tried to recompile vlc (I like goom) with faac 1.24 (1.25 is the same)
from freshrpms
and I got:

icUsageEnvironment -L/usr/lib/live/liveMedia -lliveMedia -ldvbpsi -lmatroska
-lebml -lpostproc -lavformat -lavcode
c -lz -ldts -lgsm /usr/lib/libmp3lame.so -lxvidcore -lx264 -lfaac
/usr/lib/libfaad.so -ldl -lvorbisenc -lavutil -l
vorbis -lm -ltheora -logg
/usr/lib/libavcodec.so: undefined reference to `faacDecInit2'
/usr/lib/libavcodec.so: undefined reference to `faacDecOpen'
/usr/lib/libavcodec.so: undefined reference to `faacDecInit'
/usr/lib/libavcodec.so: undefined reference to `faacDecGetErrorMessage'
/usr/lib/libavcodec.so: undefined reference to `faacDecSetConfiguration'
/usr/lib/libavcodec.so: undefined reference to `faacDecDecode'
/usr/lib/libavcodec.so: undefined reference to
`faacDecGetCurrentConfiguration'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

I am also using ffmpeg from freshrpms.

These three useless codecs, faac, faad2 and x264 are really nasty guys.

Can someone, please, check if vlc and mplayer are still running with the
newer faad2 from freshrpms?

Thanks,

/Paulo Roma.
