I *think* that either pirut or yumex is straight up broken in FC7; I
upgraded my laptop over the weekend (fresh install) and decided to play
with pirut and yumex, just because I normally use the cmdline and wanted
to play.

Installing several packages via these tools (afraid I don't know which
one) cause a *lot* of unmet dependencies -- seahorse, gnumeric, vlc and
a few others were all screwed up. I ended up doing a typical 'rpm -e
gnumeric; yum install gnumeric' on all of them.

I'd advise you run 'rpm -Va >checkme.txt 2>&1' and look in the output
for more and more broken libraries to be fixed. :(

Completely offtopic, but I also found that many choices during install
(in text mode) are not actually on the DVD! gkrellm -- I know I saw and
selected that to install, but post install it wasn't there and it's not
on the DVD itself. Many, many others like that.

Hooray gkrellm! Boooo FC7 release team QA.
