Unbelievable that they couldn't manage to fix that one, but that's ATI for you. I think it would have helped their reputation a lot if they would have showed a quick response to this issue, but that is asking too much I guess. Also, included in this link to fedora forums is a link to a thread on how you can downgrade your Xserver package and then you can run fglrx without issue under F7. http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=159160
