Well, support on <R600 is "unofficial", but on Phoronix they claim that it works without problems. On my laptop with an Xpress 1150, it's plain crap. It killed rhgb, but while X.org seems to load fine, and glxinfo reports working direct rendering, every application trying to use OpenGL segfaults. Even fgl_glxinfo, their own test program. Plus, there's very annoying graphical corruption around the mouse cursor. And not to mention, suspend/hibernate don't work. This is on x86_64, I don't know if the situation is different on i386... I wonder if AMD will ever manage to provide a working driver for F7 x86_64... Good that they're releasing their specs, their driver is just shameful.
