Making sense or not, the commandline is 100% valid and *should* work; I feel there is something wrong in the FreshRPMs compile(s) of a tool somewhere (mencoder? libavcodec?) that needs to be looked at. I'm going to try -oac mp3lame when I get a chance, a workaround is always a good thing. :) But, I'd rather have what worked fine on FC6 work fine on FC7 the way it's supposed to... > You didn't provide the mencoder version that you're using. This is the FreshRPMs mailing list -- it's the version that Matthias offers for download so I didn't think it was worth mentioning. The only repo I use is FreshRPMs, so it's all mplayer/mencoder/libavcodec/etc. from the FreshRPMs repository latest versions. mencoder-1.0-0.34.rc1try2.fc7 Source RPM: mplayer-1.0-0.34.rc1try2.fc7.src.rpm Build Host: python3.freshrpms.net -te -- Troy Engel | Systems Engineer Fluid, Inc | http://www.fluid.com
