$ rpm -qa | grep nvid
nvidia-x11-drv-97xx-1.0.9762-4.fc7

I'm not sure why I ended up with this, as I believe I can run a later driver - 
I seem to remember having problems with the newer driver when it first came 
out, but, I believe that was true for a number of people. Maybe I just never 
got around to updating. 

lspci shows this for my video card:
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation NV44 [GeForce 6200 
TurboCache(TM)] (rev a1)

I'm off to the nVidia site to see if this card is supported by the newer 
driver...
