dvd95-1.3p1-1.fc8.i386.rpm - ui language doesn't change when selected

Hi, I tried dvd95 out for the first time today using the freshrpms package.

I notice that it doesn't change the UI language after it is selected in 
options. I have not tried to compile from upstream to see if it's a 
local, package or upstream problem.

Restarting the app didn't help.

suggested:
$ export LANG=en_EN
$ dvd95

Which also did not work, however the tracker comments suggest it should 
work ?

I am happy to file an upstream bug if the feeling is the issue lies with 
the developers... ?
