Hi all, I am using Fedora 8 x86_64, and am using xmms-aac and xmms-wma, and they are causing XMMS to crash when opening their associated file types. Whenever I try to open a .m4a/.mp4 file I get: > /usr/libexec/xmms: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib64/xmms/Input/libmp4.so: undefined symbol: mp4ff_open_read_metaonly If I try to open a .wma file I get: > *** stack smashing detected ***: /usr/libexec/xmms terminated > > Segmentation fault > > You've probably found a bug in XMMS, please visit > http://bugs.xmms.org and fill out a bug report. > > Gdk-ERROR **: Fatal IO error 11 (Resource temporarily unavailable) on X server . [russ@detritus ~]$ rpm -q xmms xmms-aac xmms-wma faad2 xmms-1.2.10-36.fc7.x86_64 xmms-aac-2.5-1.fc7.x86_64 xmms-wma-1.0.5-3.fc7.x86_64 faad2-2.5-7.fc8.x86_64 [russ@detritus ~]$ uname -a Linux detritus.local 2.6.23.9-85.fc8 #1 SMP Fri Dec 7 15:49:36 EST 2007 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux That version of faad2 is from ATrpms but I've also tried the freshrpms version faad2-2.5-2.fc7.x86_64 with the same result. The only other reference to both of these problems I've found is at http://forums.fedoraforum.org/archive/index.php/t-145293.html - interestingly the people there are on x86_64 too.
