follow: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Docs/CustomKernel, but replace 
kernel with the transcode source rpm. Go through parts that make a dev 
environment, install the src rpm {and build requires}, and try building,

The errors that you probably will get are what is stopping the x86 
build. If you can't work it out try posting the error message bits of 
the rpmbuild process; someone might have ideas to try...
