Have you checked that :
	- You don't run out of space disk especially on /var ??

there are over 7.2GB free

	- reboot/init in single mode and make a fschk with your filesystems
(especially /var) (based on my own experience on I/O error).

I have made new filesystems, cause I am in the install process right now.
