switchover to ccc

Tavis, I was thinking about your docs for bootstrapping gentoo
with ccc on alphas.  As I've never completed a gentoo install,
I was wondering if I could get the system up and running with
gcc, and later recompile things with ccc.

Would that work?  Would there be parts of the system that couldn't
be recompiled/replaced so easily?
