While I firmly believe that most users should stick to GNU, I wouldn't
have done all this work (and we wouldn't be constructively discussing
it) if uutils wasn't a reasonable option. There are pros and cons
about uutils but it works, I expect hardly any compat issue at this
stage, and some users want to at least try it.

I don't think this would be wise: the main purpose of this news item
is prevention and troubleshooting, whether the user cares about uutils
or not.
