I just went with `g*` as suggested in the original bug report, but we could easily use `g-*` or `gnu*` or `gnu-*` to be a bit more unique. Most users will only ever use the symlink, so the prefixed name doesn't need to be short and sweet. FWIW, the uutils prefix is `uu-*`, so I like `g-*` as it uses the same template.
