As of today, the GURU project has new rules [1]. All GURU committer are asked to please take a minute to read through them. They mostly clarify things for existing contributors, and change the process for new users; please don't acknowledge them, we can't handle hundreds of mails. The most important change is that new users will now have to submit some contributions *prior* to asking for access. This implies that pull requests and patches will be used much more frequently that they were used before. As GURU is primarily user-governed, all committers can review and merge contributions (using app-portage/pram, on the dev branch). However, please be considerate: match the level of engagement to your experience, and the expectations to the level of expectations for the dev branch.=20 The general assumption is that merged contributions should be good enough that once the user files the access request, we can grant it immediately rather than ask for more contributions. In the end, I expect that things will be in flux for a while still, and may change still in the coming weeks. Thanks for all your hard work!
