Hi Alexander,

Wayland is the future obviously.
I've been using it for more than 10 years already, starting with KasperskyO=
S
(when I was working at Kaspersky Lab I've made Wayland an essential part of
the GUI stack), and ending all of my custom made linuxes for professional
and home machines.
Most of the software based on Qt5/Qt6/Gtk3/Gtk4 will run smoothly on
Wayland.
I had issues only with FreeCAD, which can be fixed by XWayland.
Also wxWidgets do not implement all of the Wayland protocols which is a
problem if you are using Nvidia drivers for example.
