Voici en attendant le chapitre 3 partiellement traduit (c'est qu'il y en
a des traducteurs de GWN...).

Pour la suite, je ne fais pas de promesse sur la date, ça va dépendre du
déroulement du réveillon !

<title>L'éditeur</title>

       <mail link="[email protected]">Ulrich Plate</mail> est présent depuis la
       toute première édition de la GWN il y a deux ans. Il n'a pris que récemment
       la position d'éditeur après que le précédent, Uji Carlos Kosugi, ait
       laissé la place vacante pour se concentrer sur ses études.
       Ulrich ne cache pas ses lacunes concernant les aspects techniques de la
       publication d'une lettre d'information. Il peut néanmoins s'appuyer sur
       son expérience acquises ces 20 dernières années en tant que journaliste
       et spécialiste des relations publiques pour des sociétés dans le
       domaine des technologies de l'information afin d'obtenir des résultats
       acceptables en ce qui concerne la présentation du contenu.
       Chaque fin de semaine, l'édition de la GWN est surveillée de près par
       sa famille qui essaye de l'empêcher d'y consacrer trop de temps, la
       date de publication fixée au lundi matin 0:00 UTC ne les rassure pas
       énormément - l'anglais n'étant pas sa langue maternelle, il redoute
       beaucoup de prononcer par erreur "Belgium" un de ces jours.

<section>
<title>Les Auteurs</title>

       <mail link="[email protected]">AJ Armstrong</mail> a commencé à
       travailler sur la GWN dès son commencement en 2002. Il vient de
       revenir d'une interruption de plusieurs mois faisant suite à la
       naissance de son premier enfant. AJ donne un cours intitulé
       'Computer Engineering Technology' [NdT: Systèmes Informatiques] au
       'Northern Alberta Institute of Technology', ceci recouvrant des
       formations sur Linux dans l'embarqué et la théorie des Systèmes
       d'Exploitation. Il pratique également le Karate et apprécie la
       plongée sous-marine, mais le clair de son temps est en ce moment
       consacré à essayer de comprendre son fils, qui est malheureusement
       arrivé sans aucun manuel.

	à travailler sur la section communauté del a GWN en septembre 2003.
	En dehors de planter ses serveurs Linux et sa station de travail Mac,
	il passe son temps avec sa femme Phaedrah et leur chat Millie.
	Cet été, il prévoit de donner un cours d'introduction à Linux à
	l'université dans le temps restant entre son affaire de consultant Linux
	et jouer de la guitare et de la batterie au sein de son groupe.

        <mail link="[email protected]">Patrick Lauer</mail> Patrick Lauer 
	a rédigé les résumés pour la liste <path>gentoo-dev</path>, quelque 
	'Tips and Tricks' [NdT: Astuces] et d'autres nouvelles diverses depuis
	qu'il a rejoint l'équipe GWN en septembre 2004. Il est étudiant en Sciences
	Informatiques au RWTH Aachen en Allemagne, la plupart de son temps libre
	étant perdu entre IRC (où il est connu en tant que bonsaikitten) et les
	listes Gentto où il se dit qu'il se construit plus ou moins une réputation
	de trolleur.
	Patrick se concentre particulièrement sur la chasse aux bugs dans la Gentoo
	et il a l'intention d'avoir une ferme de compilation entièrement automatisée
	dans le futur proche. En dehors de cela c'est un évangéliste acharné qui
	essaye de convertir toutes ses connaissance au seul vrai Linux.

a 27 ans et vit à Berne (Suisse). Il utilise Linux depuis 1998 et la
Gentoo depuis environ 3 ans. En ce moment, il travaille en tant que chef
de projet dans une société travaillant dans les réseaux et utilisant
principalement HP-UX et Linux. En dehors des ordinateurs, il joue beaucoup au
volleyball et gère les platines.

<mail link="[email protected]">Tobias Scherbaum</mail> a 23 ans et vit
à Oberhausen (Allemagne). Utilisateur Gentoo depuis environ deux ans et demi,
il est responsable des traductions allemandes au seind du
<uri link="http://gdp.gentoo.org">Projet de Documentation Gentoo</uri>.
Il contribue parfois quelques 'Tips &amp; Tricks' à la GWN.</p>

<p><mail link="[email protected]">Matthias F. Brandstetter</mail> a 21 ans et
vit à Vienne (Autriche). Lorsqu'il ne traduit pas la GWN en Allemand, il
travaille en tant que Consultant Linux indépendant. Dans son temps libre, Matthias
fait la fête avec ses amis ou lit des ouvrages intéressants.

<p><mail link="[email protected]">Tobias Hansen</mail>, 24 ans, vit à Francfort
sur Main. Il travaille en tant qu'informaticien sur des mesures de
performances et de disponibilité d'une chaîne complète et utilise la Gentoo
depuis 2002.</p>

<p><mail link="[email protected]">Nadi Sarrar</mail> a 23 ans, vit à Berlin et
étudie l'Informatique à l'Université Technique de Berlin. Un utilisateur
Gentoo depuis un an et demi, il aime composer et écouter de la musique en plus
de la programmation fonctionnelle.</p>

<p><mail link="[email protected]">Markus Luisser</mail>a 29 ans et travaille
à l'Institut de Chimie de l'Université de Technologie de Vienne. Il finit
actuellement sa thèse de doctorat en Mécanique. Son travaille à l'université à
l'avantage de lui permettre d'utiliser la Gentoo exclusivement depuis plus de
deux ans. Il passe la majeure partie de son temps libre en scéances
d'entraînement d'Aikido.</p>

<p><mail link="[email protected]">Martin Ebner</mail>a 29 ans et vit à
Salzbourg en Autriche. Il travaille en tant que développeur dans une société
pour des solutions d'accès [NdT: ?] - principalement en environnement
Microsoft. En compensation, il travaille avec Linux à la maison depuis
plusieurs années. Il utilise la Gentoo depuis un an et demi sur son serveur
personnel qui, en dehors des services habituels, sert de serveur vidéo basé
sur MythTV. En dehors des ordinateurs, il joue de la trompette et participe
à des activités folkloriques comme la "Biergemeinschaft Gaisberg" (communauté
des amateurs de bière Gaisberg).</p>

<p><mail link="[email protected]">Tobias Matzat</mail>a 24 and, vit à Trier
et étudie l'informatique à l'université de Sciences Appliquées de Trier. Il
utilise Linux et la Gentoo depuis plusieurs années, joue au basketball, lit de
bons ouvrages et écoute de la musique bruyante dans son temps libre.</p>

<p>Austrian <mail link="[email protected]">Thomas Raschbacher</mail> aka
LordVan a 22 ans et a emménagé au Royaume-Uni en octobre cette année. Il
utilise Linux depuis 1995 et la Gentoo depuis environ 3 ans. Il recherche
actuellement un travail au Royaume-uni et est développeur Gentoo depuis
décembre 2002. Lorsqu'il ne code pas ou ne traduit pas la GWN, il écoute
habituellement de la musique, apprend le Japonais, lit des Mangs ou
regarde des Animes.<:p>

connu comme Sputnik1969 a 35 ans et vit dans la capitale allemande, Berlin.
Il utilise Linux depuis 1998 et a décourver Gentoo en 2002. Il recherche aussi
un nouveau travail et reprend ses études lorsqu'il ne maltraite pas son
ordinateur.</p>

<title>Italian Translation Team</title>

       Marco Mascherpa is 25 and lives in Milan, Italy. This year,
       after completing his degree in Computer Engineering, he has
       started working for a small consulting company. His
       contributions to the Gentoo project began at the end of 2002,
       translating the GWN, now he leads the Italian translators
       team. He loves to travel with his beautiful girlfriend,
       Raffaella, and he spends his spare time watching movies and
       reading.

       Stefano Rossi is 25 years old, born and living in Rome,
       Italy. He has been on the Italian translation team for more
       than a year. He is studying Economics at the University Roma
       Tre. His favourite hobby is to follow the matches of AS Roma's
       soccer team everywhere in Italy, when possible.

       Stefano Lucidi 24 years old and lives in Rome, Italy. He works 
       as an IT consultant and studies computer science at the same
       time. Stefano started using Gentoo 3 years ago because a friend 
       talked him into it, and but it was love on first sight, eventually
       making him the founder and administrator of 
       <uri link="http://www.gentoo-italia.net">Gentoo-Italia</uri>, a 
       web site with news for the Italian community, and 
       <uri link="http://wiki.gentoo-italia.net">the new wiki</uri>

<title>Polish Translation Team</title>

       Bo&#x017c;anowski</mail> is a 24 year old CS student, living in
       Opole, Poland (although that's probably going to change once
       he's done with his thesis). Apart from computers he loves
       riding his mountain bike and playing guitar in a heavy metal
       band.  He also enjoys a good read and good food (We've heard
       that he makes a pretty good pizza).

       has used Gentoo as his default OS since 2002, and since May he
       has helped to translate the GWN into Polish.

       Radom, Poland, and works as system administrator. He maintains
       the <uri link="http://www.gentoo.pl">gentoo.pl</uri> server,
       providing many services for Polish Gentoo users. He has been
       involved in translation of the GWN for several months.

     <p>
       <mail link="[email protected]">&#0141;ukasz Strzygowski</mail>
       is a 16 year old high school student, born and living in
       Kielce, Poland. He has used Gentoo for about two years. He is
       coordinator of Polish translation for the GWN, and was also
       involved in translation of the Gentoo Handbook. He was recently
       named a a member of the Gentoo development team and maintains
       some python-related packages.  In his spare time he reads and
       learns programming.

<title>Turkish Translation Team</title>

       a 22 year old Computer Engineering student, born and living in
       Turkey. On his last year in college, he started working on
       Gentoo Handbook translations. After seeing its customizability
       and performance, he switched to Gentoo Linux. Bahad&#0131;r has
       been translating GWN to Turkish since October 2004. He also
       works part-time for an automotive factory as an Intranet
       Applications Developer, but unfortunately he works with
       non-Unix operating systems.

       34 year-old Management Economist, born in Turkey, living in
       Germany since 1992. He previously administrated Gentoo Handbook
       Turkish translations, and now he works on many translation
       projects including GWN, Gentoo Handbook and Mozilla. He has
       been a Linux addict since 1995, and a Gentoo Linux user since
       2003. In his spare time, Erkan plays with his AS400 and analog
       electronic circuits. Now he's interested in Java, and will
       start studying "Software Programming with Java" at VW-Akademie
       in January.
