Well that was an awkward way to learn holding the down arrow can send on
gmail
in certain situations...

from the system and then will only use /etc/default/grub for anything
extra the user sets.

What makes me think we should skip the test for GRUB is that it has
proven to be very reliable at autoconfiguration in both host and hostonly
dracut setups, and I have at least never needed to change it. Even for
SPARC and PPC64.

I will of course go along with the direction you and floppym prefer.
