I don't exactly have my heart > set on it or anything :P The main point is consistency with the new website (besides the ugly white edge around the gentoo logo, and the fact that it is neither the old, nor the new logo/font, nor the shop logo/font, but yet another one ;-) ). It would make gentoo look a lot more professional if the artwork is consistent. Besides there are things in interface design, normal code monkeys (myself included) never think of. Making things look pleasant graphically does work ;-) , and could lead to gentoo not being the hardest to install (besides linux from scratch) anymore.
