With all due respect, but if you don't read, you'll get into trouble anyway.
How would you know how to update your system? How would you know how to
maintain software? How would you know how Gentoo's init style works?

Without reading the Gentoo Handbook, you have no way what you are getting
yourself into. And that won't change with a nice graphical installer. An
installer only helps you to install, but you'll get to a system you don't
understand, and you'll be forced to read the documentation anyway.

Don't get me wrong, an installer is a good thing. It gives people a choice
and, if it's well designed, it allows experienced users to quickly install
Gentoo without being forced to sit behind that system.
