Personally i learnt more while installing gentoo than when i was with Mandrake, Debian or Fedora, every day i learn more and im just after a year starting to help solve some problems instead of causing them.

I reinstall far more often than i should do and the installer will help out when i try a few too many things. Perhaps The installer should only be avaliable to those who have installed manually... :)
