Couldn't hurt to file a bug. I will take it into consideration and next
I work with Tomcat I will look to bump the ecj dep. Although FYI, 5.5
ships with 3.1, and I have already stepped that up to 3.2. Not sure if
that matters much at all, much less if I increase to 3.3.

Cool, tomcat 5.5 is basically maintenance as far as I am concerned. Most
should be running 6.0.x or looking to migrate to it ASAP. But 5.5.x is
likely to be around for some time :(
