alright
i'm obviously very ill
'cause i just realised i just had the cable in the wrong port... i can see
the world now.

but before i go into the issue of networking my other boxes into an internal
lan, can someone tell me if i'm missing anything in my config.d/net file? i
haven't bought the cable yet, but since i started this thread out of
stupidity, i might as well ask.
