Do 'emerge cups' which should suck in EPS Ghostscript. When all of that is done 'emerge unmerge cups' then 'emerge cups' AGAIN. You MUST have CUPS 1.1.5 or later and EPS Ghostscript 7.05.x or later, which is what 'emerge rsync' should get you. You can not mix and match with out other complications. A bug report has been filed. What that mess does is gets CUPS to build agenst the new Ghostscript libraries. This is a problem with non-postscript raster based printers like yours and mine (HP710) and some Epsons. > I am using the hp 900 series driver for cups. Not sure if that is HPIJS or HPOJ, but the problem is in the CUPS/Ghostscript build order not the HP related drivers.
