I don't have an answer to your problem. I've installed with both
the 1.2 and 1.4b ISOs with no problem. On one machine however, I
did receive a message during the boot of the ISOs that the block
size couldn't be detected so size 0800 was assumed. This
indicates to me that some CDROM players may be problematical. Are
you working with a new system or is that and already used machine
you're dealing with?

Given what you reported regarding not having problems WinRAR (is
this on a different machine perhaps?), I would consider the
possibility of a CDROM drive problem.
