Update -> ...boot problems...

XFS problem is solved... I somehow had marked my / as
XFS in fstab.  No clue how I managed that, but now
that I set it as reiserfs.  I really wonder how
anything worked, and how I was able to rebuild kernel
etc. on a partition mounted with the wrong
filesystem...

I still have all the XSESSION errors, and a
non-working network.  The network is supposedly setup
for dhcp, as per the x86 installation document.
