I'm running Gentoo 1.2 on a big ide drive and I'd like to get my four scsi hard drives ready for fdisk and move everything except for home over to them. After going through the first stages of a Red Hat install to find out that I have an EATA card I've since been unable to get modprobe to locate the eata and sd_mod module. I think I've compiled the kernel properly so this is hopefully my only obstacle until i fight with getting raid to work. Any helpful ideas on getting my modules to load properly?
Thanks :)
