Too many levels of symbolic links

I was trying to save my /home/bob directory using gcombust and it reported 
this:

/usr/bin/mkisofs: Too many levels of symbolic links. File /home/bob/.kde/.kde 
is not readable - ignoring
/usr/bin/mkisofs: Too many levels of symbolic links. File /home/bob/.kde/.kde3 
is not readable - ignoring

Is that normal?

If not how should I fix it?
