1.4rc emerge diffutils failure

    Hi All,
    I tried emerge lyx in gentoo1.4rc. Emerge fails on diffutils emerge 
with messages ACCESS DENIED about /usr/share/locale files and 
directories. I looked at this places on /usr/share/locales and can not 
see any problems.
    Please, help.
