So far i didn't have problems with it, even after > a few terabytes of transfer :-) The problem I experienced more than one time is that , if on both sides is an 8139, and on one side a windowsbox (at least win95,98 and NT4) and on the other a samba server than the datarate went down to ca. 25 kB/s in both directions, on a 10Mbit network. With one other card on either side all is fine. I found similar problems described in usenet-threads, so I generalised my experience. That's the whole story. jan
