We don't know if the mouse works at all, or if just the wheel function doesn't work. We don't even know what doesn't work - does the mouse move erratically, does the wheel go in the wrong direction, or does the mouse work normally, but the middle button/wheel only appears to click, not scroll. We don't know what sort of mouse you have, and how you have it connected. USB, PS/2, serial, ADB? We don't know what you have in your X configuration file. Do you have the IMPS/2 protocol in use? Do you have a ZAxisMapping? We don't know which applications you've tried. KDE? Netscape? Some mouse test application? Can you try again, and put some thought into the question. Then someone might be able to help you, without wasting your time or or theirs. Brad - -- http://linux.conf.au. 22-25Jan2003. Perth, Aust. I'm registered.
