Does this mean that When in KDE or gnome desktop that I can change Display
Resolution by simply "Ctrl +Num+or-?
If so, it doesn't work for me.

My /etc/X11/XF86Config.....
-----------------------------
    Section "Screen"
-----------------------
        DefaultDepth 24
-------------------------
    SubSection "Display"
        Depth 24
        Modes "1024x768 800x600 640x480"

Also my scrollwheel is not working.
the XF86Config settings are:
--------------------------------
    Section "InputDivice"
        Identifier "Mouse0"
        Driver "mouse"
        Option "Protocol" "PS/2"
        Option "Device" "/dev/mouse"
        Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"

My mouse is a Logitec MouseMan+ mechanical ball.

Also, Is there a nicer way to exit the KDE or gnome desktop back to the
standard linux prompt than Ctrl-Alt-Backspace?
The only 2 ways that I know is to reboot or bang away on the
Ctrl-Alt-Backspace.
There has got to be a better way.

Thanks again for all your help,
